Here are a few pictures of various events I’ve been involved in.

 Demon’s Parchment Book Launch–October 23, 2010

The table was set with cheeses, meats, figs, dates, grapes, olives, and dessert wafers. And there was nothing left!

The book trailer played (see the little digital frame?) right below my electric candles. I love those candles!

In attendance was Edgar Award-winning author and president of the So Cal Mystery Writers of America, Naomi Hirahara.

Quite the crowd! Even with putting out more chairs it was standing room only.

And then the knights! We adjorned to the downstairs courtyard and let Sir Thomas (black and white) and Sir Anthony (in blue) have at it. With sword blades sparking, they went for it. Choreographed, it still seemed dangerous to me!

Innocent bystanders (background) were minding their own business and taking a shortcut through the alley between the bookstore and the movie theatre when they came across this! God knows what they thought to see these guys and several tiers of audience cheering them on.

You see that thumbs-up in the bacground, left? We decided who lives and dies. Ah, the power!

Everyone recovered nicely for a photo op. I wasn’t tried at all.
